Promises are easily broken in today’s world.
People change. Circumstances shift. Words lose weight.

But the Bible shows us something different about God.

In Isaiah 41:10, God makes a promise He has never withdrawn, never revised, and never canceled:

“So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

This promise was spoken to people who were afraid, uncertain about the future, and surrounded by threats. They were not strong. They were not secure. Yet God did not say, “Be strong first.”
He said, “I am with you.”

That is what makes this promise powerful.

God did not promise:

  • a life without trouble
  • a future without fear
  • strength without weakness

He promised His presence in the middle of it all.

What makes this promise even more amazing is that God never placed an expiration date on it. He did not say, “I will help you until things get hard,” or “I will be with you if you don’t fail.”

He simply said: I am with you.

Thousands of years later, people still cling to these same words in fear, illness, poverty, loss, and uncertainty — and find them true. Governments change. Systems fail. People disappoint. But God’s promise remains unchanged.

This is why the Bible is not just an old book.
It is a living assurance.

When everything else feels unstable, this promise still stands:
You are not alone.
You are not abandoned.
You are being held.

God’s promises stand yesterday, today, and forever.
